President William Ruto and former prime minister Raila Odinga are expected to sign a 50:50 power sharing agreement akin to the 2008 National Accord.

The deal is expected to give the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) a nearly equal portion of the government.

Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) boss Raila Odinga now says that his next political move will be informed by the interests of the Kenyan citizenry.

Speculation has been rife about Raila's next move after the events in Addis Ababa, with some quarters foreseeing a pre-2027 pact with President William Ruto.
