How Xweep collects, uses, shares, and protects information across feeds, reels, uploads, live features, monetization, ads, and support tools.
Overview and scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Xweep at https://xtweep.com. Xweep is an 18+ social content platform with account login, short-video feeds, reels, discovery pages, live streaming tools, groups, premium or locked content flows, ads or promotion workflows, and a built-in support ticket system. This policy explains how information is collected and used across those features.
We wrote this policy to match the actual Xweep product. That means it references features in the platform code and admin tools such as media conversion queues, thumbnail generation, live diagnostics, recommendation ranking, monetization access checks, and support notifications. If the platform changes, this policy may be updated so it remains accurate.
Information you provide directly
When you create a Xweep account, you provide information such as username, email address, and password. Passwords are handled through WordPress authentication and are not stored in plain text. You may also provide profile information such as display name, bio, avatar, cover image, and optional profile metadata that can include country, city, and language-related details depending on what fields are enabled.
If you use support forms or the ticket system, we collect the details you submit, including your name, email, whether you have a Xweep account, the reason category, and your message. Logged-in users can also have tickets linked to their user account so ticket replies can appear through on-site notifications and email.
Content and interaction data
Xweep processes the content you create and share on the platform, including videos, images, captions, hashtags, comments, profile posts, and group content. The platform also stores operational metadata related to content, such as timestamps, visibility state, premium or locked status, thumbnail state, and conversion or processing status used by the media pipeline.
We also process engagement and interaction signals generated by users. These can include views, watch completion, rewatches, likes, comments, saves, shares, follows, profile visits, and other interactions that help the platform run recommendations, detect trends, and measure performance. These signals are a core part of how Xweep personalizes Home, Reels, Explore, and suggested users.
Uploads, media processing, and technical metadata
Xweep includes upload and media-processing workflows. When you upload a video, the platform may process thumbnail generation, conversion jobs, queue items, and playback-related media metadata. Some of this work may continue after the upload appears to finish, because the system can move conversion and thumbnail work into background processing to avoid blocking the user interface.
Technical metadata used for these workflows may include file-related details, queue status, retry attempts, processing timestamps, and diagnostic messages that help administrators identify why a conversion or thumbnail job failed. This information is used to operate the platform and keep media delivery reliable.
Live streaming and live diagnostics data
If you use Xweep live features, the platform processes stream setup and status information such as RTMPS input details, stream key validation state, and live signal diagnostics. Depending on site configuration, Xweep may rely on Cloudflare Stream Live or other infrastructure services to receive and deliver live media. Xweep processes the resulting status information to help creators connect successfully and to display live session state in the interface.
Live content and related interactions (such as live chat or gifting where enabled) are subject to the same privacy, safety, and moderation framework as other content. We may store operational logs related to live sessions for troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and support.
Recommendation, personalization, and local relevance
Xweep uses engagement signals and account metadata to personalize feeds and discovery. The system may use follows, watch duration, completion, rewatches, likes, comments, saves, shares, profile visits, and repeated interest patterns to estimate what content is most relevant to each user. This helps reduce repetition and improve the quality of recommendations.
Where profile or content metadata exists, Xweep can also use country, city, and language weighting to improve local relevance. This may affect what appears in Home, Reels, Explore, or user suggestions. For example, content from the same country or city, or content likely to be in a user’s language, may receive a relevance boost. Xweep can also apply freshness windows and trend scoring for fast-rising content.
Device, browser, and network information
Like most web platforms, Xweep collects technical information from browsers and devices to deliver the service and keep it secure. This can include IP-related data, browser type, device type, operating system, request headers, error logs, and session identifiers. Some of this information is used for anti-abuse detection, moderation support, localization, and troubleshooting.
We may also use technical signals to improve media playback, adaptive quality behavior, upload stability, and site performance. Xweep is a media-heavy platform, so device and network diagnostics can be important when resolving issues related to video playback, thumbnails, conversion status, or live streaming setup.
Cookies and local storage
Xweep uses cookies and similar browser storage for login sessions, security protections, preferences, and feature continuity. This includes WordPress authentication cookies, nonce or request validation mechanisms, and browser storage used to preserve user interface state or feature context. Some cookies are essential for the site to work.
Xweep may also use storage to support media playback settings, upload progress continuity, and other operational tasks. If you block all cookies, parts of Xweep may not function correctly, especially login, uploads, support forms, and premium access checks.
Payments, wallets, and monetization records
If you use premium plans, locked content, ad promotions, wallets, or other paid features on Xweep, the platform processes the records needed to verify access and maintain account balances or campaign status. Xweep may receive transaction status data, payment references, and entitlement records from payment-related systems or providers used by the site.
Xweep does not ask users to send payment credentials in support tickets. Payment providers handle sensitive payment credentials under their own policies. Xweep stores the operational data needed to grant access, update premium states, track campaign outcomes, and investigate disputes or fraud.
How we share information
Xweep shares information within the platform according to your activity and visibility settings. Public or shared content can appear to other users in feeds, reels, profiles, discovery pages, and groups depending on ranking and permissions. If you post content publicly, it may be seen and engaged with by users you do not follow.
We may also share information with service providers that operate platform infrastructure, such as media delivery, object storage, email delivery, login integrations, or payment systems, when those features are enabled. These providers process data to perform services for Xweep. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce platform rules, or to protect users and the service.
Moderation, safety, and fraud prevention
Xweep uses reports, moderation tools, verification workflows, blocked-word controls, and technical signals to reduce abuse, scams, and fraud. Information used for moderation can include reports submitted by users, enforcement history, risk indicators, payment disputes, and suspicious behavior patterns. We may retain certain records longer when needed for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
If an account repeatedly violates platform rules or attempts to abuse monetization, ad delivery, or support tools, Xweep may use stored records to restrict features, remove content, or suspend the account. These actions are part of operating and protecting the platform.
Data retention and deletion
Xweep keeps information for as long as it is needed to operate the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce policies. Retention periods vary by type of information. Account records, support tickets, premium access records, and moderation logs may be retained for different lengths of time depending on operational and legal needs.
If you delete content or close your account, some information may remain in backups, logs, or fraud-prevention systems for a limited period. We may also retain some records when required to protect the platform, process disputes, or comply with legal obligations.
Your choices and rights
You can update many account details directly inside Xweep, including profile information and some content settings. You can also manage what you post, who you follow, and how you interact with recommendations. Browser settings allow you to manage cookies and local storage, but blocking essential storage may break core site features.
If you have a privacy question or want to request access, correction, or deletion (where applicable), use the {Contact Support} page and include enough details to identify your account. We may ask for verification before completing privacy-related requests.
Notifications and communication
Xweep can send account and feature-related communications through on-site notifications and email. Examples include support ticket replies, premium or monetization-related messages, and certain operational notices. Logged-in support users may receive both in-site and email responses when administrators reply to a ticket.
We use the contact information on your account, or the email address provided in a support ticket, to send these messages. Xweep does not require you to share a physical mailing address to use the service, and we do not publish a physical office address on the site at this time.
International use and local relevance
Xweep may be used by people in different countries, and the platform may apply local relevance logic using country, city, and language metadata where available. This is a ranking and personalization function, not a statement about your legal residence. You control some of these signals by editing your profile information or choosing what you share.
Because local relevance is part of the recommendation system, location-like metadata can influence what content you see and what audience is more likely to see your posts. Xweep uses this to improve relevance and reduce noise, especially for country-level and city-level trends.
Data protection and incident response
Xweep uses technical and organizational measures to protect user information, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security. If we identify a security issue that affects the platform, we may investigate logs, reset access, disable features, or require additional verification to protect accounts and systems.
If a security incident affects your account directly, Xweep may contact you through email or in-site notifications when appropriate. We may also ask you to reset your password or take other steps to secure your account.
18+ only and contact
